Over the last few days, fans of separated Mo’Hits bosses D’banj and Don Jazzy got talking after they noticed the pop star ‘unfollowed’ the hit producer on popular micro-blogging site Twitter.
D’banj had also changed his name in his bio from ‘Dapo ‘D’banj’ Oyebanjo to ‘Daniel ‘D’banj’ Banjo; causing music fans to raise eyebrows, chastising the entertainer for trying to adjust his identity to meet the demands of the Western media.
But the G.O.O.D Music act has reacted to the drama, claiming that his account was hacked. In a press release made available by his publicists , they say D’banj’s Facebook and Twitter accounts have ‘experienced a series of vicious hacks’.
‘Over the past few weeks Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo aka D’Banj has experienced a series of vicious hacks on several of his social networking sites including his Facebook page and more recently, his Twitter of which his account name was wrongfully changed. Unfortunately the hackers managed to carry out a number of hurtful, damaging activities directly aimed to deceive D’Banj’s fans with false information’, the statement read.
D’banj’s accounts have however been retrieved and changes made. His Twitter name now reads D’banj Kokomaster with his bio DB/Good Music/IDJ.
