Popular record company Soul Muzik has signed promising female artiste Zaina to the label.
The announcement was made by R&B singer Darey Art Alade, the Co-founder of the label, which is also home to budding rapper Mo’Eazy.
‘She’s a supremely talented singer, writer and performer who has worked with some of the best brains here and abroad; a fierce entertainer who wants to make music fans happy’, Darey says about Zaina, who recently moved back home from Atlanta.
Zaina isn’t exactly a newbie in the music scene. Past work with the likes of eLDee, STYL Plus, Sasha, and Lynxxx shows the singer is capable of flying the Soul Muzik label flag high enough.
Along with the news of her signing, Soul Muzik used the opportunity to debut her new singles ‘Lolola’ and ‘Totally yours’ featuring one-time Jamaican dancehall hit maker Wanye Wonder.
In recent times, Nigerian record labels have been adding ladies to their rosters. Soul Muzik’s latest move follows the line of other top labels including Chocolate City (Pryse), EME (Niyola), Trybe Records (Eva) and the most popular being Tiwa Savage to MAVIN Records
