A bus carrying high explosives exploded this morning at the rumuokoro round about axis of port harcourt. Our witnesses at the scene of the incident who spoke with our correspondent in a 14-Seater bus went off at about 10:45 this morning leaving one person dead and two others injured. Addressing news men at the scene the state commissioner of police Mohammed Ndabawa confirmed the incident and dismissed speculations that it was a bomb explosion saying it was ammunition being conveyed for an attempted robbery that exploded. Our correspondent reports that the two others injured have been rushed to the nearest hospital fpr medical attention
