EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR MEETS 5 AFRICAN YOUTHS ON MTV SHOW




Togolese striker and one time CAF Footballer of the Year Emmanuel Adebayor has made history as the first African sportsman to feature in the MTV Base Meets…with MTN series.
Adebayor who recently completed his move to English football side Tottenham Hotspur entertained five enterprising youths from across the African continent at his home in Aka, Ghana.
The 28-year-old met with Nigerian student Nmamdi Ekwe (17), Sudanese management student and youth volunteer Nibrass Hassan (21), Ghanaian shoe entrepreneur Fred Deegbe (27), Zambian computer science student and soccer fanatic Mabanga Chisenga (21) and South African TV producer and presenter Sterre Mkatini (27).
The episode will air on August 29, 2012.
This year alone, the youth empowerment TV series and multimedia campaign has featured the likes of Olusegun Obasanjo, Alek Wek and Winnie Mandela.
