CBN About To Introduce N2,000 And N5,000 Naira Notes Denomination




This is great, carriage of huge amount of money will be made even much more easier when the currencies are been released into the hands of Nigerians. Also, the CBN has 
plans to convert the N5, N10, N20 or N50 notes into coins, this move is not too cool, and as a matter of fact, most Nigerians are in no way interested in coins, even kids will second to this but the Government rules the day.
 

The Central Bank of Nigeria, in an attempt to reduce the volume of cash baggage and security exposure in cash transactions, is contemplating the introduction of new currency 
denominations of N2,000 and N5,000.

The bank has also made plans to convert N5, N10, N20 and N50 into coins which are all presently notes. Though no one at CBN has confirmed this, but reliable sources told

 the newspaper that it will happen
