FANS REACT NEGATIVELY TO NEW MAN UNITED JERSEY

Man Utd. centre back – Rio Ferdinand

Manchester United FC fans have reacted negatively to the new ‘Gingham’  kit to be worn by the team next season.
The new jersey is a chequered patterned Gingham shirt designed by Nike, with the slogan ‘Forged in Industry, Made of Manchester‘. The slogan is a nod to the famous cotton industry of 1878, when the club was formed.
But fans have compared the jersey to a tablecloth and a tea towel on the club’s official Facebook page.
Conor Sorohan, wrote: ‘Looks alright if you are Rupert the Bear or a tin of shortbread‘.
Another fan reacted by saying ‘It’s hard enough as it is with the stick from other fans without having the worst, most ugly kit in the history of English football.
However, the club spokesman says ‘It’s historical, unusual and a bit different. Gingham was invented in Manchester, going back to when it was known for its cotton mills‘.

  1. This new man u. s. shirt is looking very nice, wide range of design, style and shade. I would like to tell that Many on-line suppliers are promoting soccer shirts when the period of soccer starts.
